The Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver was introduced in 1860 as a powerful, .44-caliber, cap-and-ball revolver and quickly became a favorite sidearm during the American Civil War. Known for its improved accuracy and lighter weight compared to earlier models, it combined the heft of a dragoon with a streamlined design, making it practical for cavalry and infantry alike.

Overall fair to good estate condition, working action, metals have been scuffed and polished with little finish remaining, grips have field marks from age and use, bore has small amounts of oxidation, strong rifling.
