19th century, rectangular forms with brass hardware, the first retaining London maker's label to interior for James Purdy of 314 Oxford Street, inlaid brass target to lid and felt lined interior (3 x 32 1/2 x 10 1/4 in.); the second with campaign lid handle and divided interior (3 x 32 x 9 1/4 in.)

Scattered surface scratches and some cracks; losses to felt; smaller no longer retaining upholstered lining and replaced brass locking clips; locks removed.
