Malik-Verlag, founded by Wieland Herzfelde, was known for publishing controversial titles, many by members of the Berlin Dada movement. Grosz published numerous books with Malik, including Mit Pinsel und Schere (With Brush and Scissors). All of the publications were censored, with many leading to trial and inclusion in the Nazi book burning of May 10, 1933 (MoMA, Malik-Verlag, Berlin).

Wraps with toning and soiling, mostly light edge wear with one small corner loss, and small chips and tears at spine with larger end tears; corner fold impacting rear cover and (2) plates; interior with foxing, occasional soiling, light grime, and creasing, and one plate with corner damp stain. A good or better copy.
