Late 18th century, white pine secondary, metal painted dial marked "Warranted by G. Parker." with moon dial and second hand, brass 8-day movement driven by two weights and striking on an apical bell, the hood with applied cut fretwork crest and three brass finial, arched hinged door with fluted columns and side apertures, the case with hinged lipped and molded waist door with light wood line inlay and central oval, fluted quarter columns, flush panel base with line inlays, ogee bracket feet, with pendulum, winding key and two weights.

Note the use of figured cherry to the waist door.

Accompanied with letter attributing this clock to the maker Gardiner Parker (1772-1826) of Westborough, Massachusetts.
