Full dark blue calf with gilt fillet and blind and gilt-tooled spines, with marbled endpapers and all edges marbled. 4to; 198, 192pp; 192, 211pp.; 196, 184pp. With engraved portraits of Michelangelo, Newton, Dante, Canova, Blake, and many others. Vol. VI with errata slip tipped in. (Scuffing to boards with rubbed corners and edges; joints rubbed with cracking; spines with wear such as creasing, chipping, pealing, and small losses; interiors with light toning, mild scattered foxing and spotting, expected offsetting, and occasional hinge cracking, wear at gutter, and minor grime or stain.)

Full leather with gilt-stamped spines. 8vo; 435, 458pp.; 432, 472pp. (Sturdy volumes with age wear to leather, rubbed corners and edges, spines darkened with cracking, light chipping to labels, mostly mild wear at ends, and creasing at joints with one small area of cracking starting; vols. 3-4 with loose headband and damp staining to front board; interiors with scattered foxing, toning (varies light to heavy), and occasional staining and wormholes; vols. 1-2 with offsetting from frontispiece and mild damp staining at lower margin; vols. 3-4 with minor cracking at hinges.)
