Originally released in 1988, the updated Rolex Daytona 16518 featured the line's first automatic movement, the Rolex caliber 4030. Based on the best automatic chronograph movement of the day, the Zenith El Primero, these updated timepieces earned the moniker "Zenith Daytona" and are known for many other firsts for the line. Those include the first 40mm case, the first steel and gold models, and the introduction of the fixed end-link and crown protectors on the case.

Accompanied by retailer's inner and outer box, two replacement straps, and paperwork.

Good estate condition; running at time of examination. Please see Terms and Conditions of Sale: Clocks and Watches.
