Southern Paint Decorated Step-Back Cupboard

Attributed to eastern North Carolina or Virginia, late 18th century, one part form, walnut, dovetailed case, stylized dentil trim cornice, two hinged triple raised panel doors with shelved interior, the base with two drawers over two hinged raised panel doors shelved interior, flush base, case edges with applied molding, in dark blue and red paint.
