France, circa 1900, manner of François Linke (1855-1946), ten inch round porcelain dial, French brass dual train movement with Brocot adjuster stamped "L.F /8685 / 64, having suspension spring pendulum; within a serpentine form case in mixed wood parquetry veneers including kingwood and tulipwood, surmounted by an ormolu figure of Chronos and cherub relief plaque, decorated in lion mask, floral and acanthus mounts, with cast paw feet atop a conforming plinth, unsigned.
