Spines rebacked; boards with scuffing, creasing, edge wear, and rubbed corners; hinges reinforced; interiors lightly toned with occasional foxing, small tears, minor gutter wear, light soiling, and wear to endpapers, with expected offsetting from plates; most volumes with some damp staining; first volume with erased pencil writing on free endpaper; occasional small repair and volume VI with larger repairs to rear free endpaper impacting surrounding leaves; a sturdy good to very good set.
