Half leather over marbled paper-covered boards, spines gilt-stamped with raised bands, with marbled endpapers and top edge gilt. 8vo. To include: Middlemarch (2 vols.); Romola (2 vols.); Daniel Deronda (2 vols.); Adam Bede; Impressions of Theophrastus Such; The Mill on the Floss; Scenes of Clerical Life, Silas Marner, etc.; Felix Holt the Radical; and Poems. Each with frontispiece with tissue guard and captioned tissue guard.

Boards with rubbing to extremities and sun fading; spines with creasing and light wear (one volume with heavier wear at head); occasional joint and hinge cracking with several boards loose or partially detached; interiors with light toning and ownership stamps, one volume with endpapers glued, overall very clean. Note: All books in the estate are sold as is; condition changes are possible due to the lack of a temperature-controlled environment.
