20th century, featuring a tapestry work after the Italian devotional painting by Scuola del Pinturicchio (1454-1513), signed "G.Marra" to lower right, set within an elaborate gesso and gilt Classical style frame with columnar pilasters supporting an painted frieze and floral and shell crest, the lower apron centering a Latin litany phrase, "Mater Creatoris (Mother of our Creator)", flanked by shield armorials.
