Half calf over marbled paper-covered boards, gilt-stamped spines, with marbled endpapers and gilt top edge. 8vo. To include: The Bride of the Nile (Mary Stuart Smith and son, Gessner Harrison Smith, trans.); The Emperor with Serapis; An Egyptian Princess; Joshua with The Burgomaster's Wife; and Only a Word with The Sisters.

Overall light toning and age wear; occasional light soiling to boards and headbands, hinge or gutter cracking, separation of free endpaper starting, and ownership stamps; overall a sturdy and attractive set.
