VIN: HDB46/1552 Engine #XPAG/TF/30680 Mileage: 82,600 showing

Here is an older frame-off restoration that shows well. With a 1250 cc XPAG four cylinder engine and four speed manual transmission. This XPAG engine's compression ratio had been increased to 8.1:1 and extra-large valves with stronger valve springs and larger carburetors increased output to 57.5 horsepower. It followed the TD Mark II with headlights faired into the wings, a sloping radiator grille concealing a separate radiator, and a new pressurized cooling system along with a simulated external radiator cap.

By the body tag, originally a Birch Grey car. A repaint in Ivory is suspected. The interior is finished in red leather, with black carpets. The new top, boot cover and tonneau are black. The chrome brightwork inside is in wonderful condition, as are the original steering wheel, gauges, and radio. The chrome sixty spoke wheels with knock offs and Michelin XZX 165/15 tires appear like new.

Previously sold by Leland Little Auctions in October 2021. Very few miles added under current ownership.

In 10 years of prior ownership many items were addressed or replaced; starter and generator conversions to appear like original with modern technology; carburetors have been recently rebuilt, with an electric fan installed; a stainless steel fuel tank was installed with new components; the driver's seat was recovered; during restoration the driver's side wood was replaced in the hinge area. Both door hinges and latches appear strong and secure; side curtains and all accessories for the top fit well.

The following condition report, while thorough, is not exhaustive as vintage cars have inherent wear and imperfections. We welcome personal inspections.
In wonderful condition with few areas of concern; some chipping to paint at hood hinge area; the lacquer paint has a few cracks in areas around fenders; no other concerns.
