Southern Federal Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Attributed to Virginia, circa 1820, back with painted signature "L. Satterwhite and B. Dam", yellow pine and poplar secondary, the rectangular top with vertically veneered edge, four graduated drawers with cock beading, reeded stiles, paneled sides, tall turned feet.

45.5 x 41.75 x 20.75 in.

The top with multiple surface stains; later pulls with plug holes; some drawer runners and drawer guides repaired; some veneer chips especially to top edge.
