Late 19th century, gilt spelter, cast as two putti holding a sphere aloft, with Japy Freres & Cie movement with suspension spring and pendulum striking on a bell, the movement verso stamped "3207" with company 1855 Med. Honn pastille, ebonized dial 4 in. with Roman chapters, signed "A CARRIER" to the base, mounted atop an octagonal black stone base.
