Circa 1840, well-turned stately ovoid jar with flared rim and four lug handles, featuring a glossy olive-green alkaline glaze with darker glaze runs from the shoulder and handles, one handle stamped "15" and an adjacent handle stamped "DS" within rectangular reserves.
