Piedmont region, attributed to James Gheen, circa 1800, yellow pine secondary, dovetailed case, applied stepped cornice, three over two over four lipped graduated drawer configuration, fluted quarter columns with lamb's tongue, applied molding at base, applied bracket foot facing with spur, distinctive Gheen school underside foot blocking.

Later pulls; corner lip repair to one small drawer; some shrinkage splits to drawer facings; some runners and guides rebuilt; right front foot side facing later; the left and right rear feet side facings and glue blocks tipped; horizontal drawer stiles cut/patched by escutcheon.
