Randolph County, circa 1820, two part form, yellow pine secondary, dovetailed case with applied top molded edge, three over four graduated drawer configuration with scratch bead (the upper small central drawer with divided interior), the flush frame with applied molded top edge, scalloped skirt, distinctive tapered leg with triffid front feet.

A very similar example can be found in the MESDA archives, photo S-15425 and is stated as being made by John Burkett in 1823.
Top with wear and dark staining; later pulls; missing locks; drawer runners and guides worn and in need of repair; left rear leg of frame with tight crack.
