Forsyth County (Salem), attributed to Johannes Krause, circa 1780, two part form, poplar and yellow pine secondary, the upper dovetailed bookcase with applied deep cove molded cornice, two hinged raised panel cabinet doors, shelved interior with ten small drawers below the lower shelf, the desk featuring a blind dovetailed case with walnut top with lipped raised panel fall front lid with hinge support, applied molded case surround, the stepped interior with three open central compartments flanked by four graduated tiered drawers, the case with applied molded lid support above four graduated drawers, applied base molding, shaped bracket foot base.
