Hand-painted with gilt highlights, both bearing spurious early 19th century Derby puce marks to the underside, the woman with an additional large incised "R" mark, each standing on a scrolled Rococo base within a landscape with a tree stump, leaves, and flowers, to include a woman with a triangle (8 1/4 in.) and a piper with tambour (8 1/2 in.).
