Circa 1830s, watercolor on ivory, ink inscribed "Haynes Bayly" to the interior backing, and the handsome curly haired English poet and writer attired in a dark cobalt overcoat, white waistcoat, and black cravat, presented behind glass in a later oak frame with gilt matting, retaining ink inscribed portion behind acetate to the framing "37 / miniatures / of TH Bayley [sic] in frame / containing Limoges enamel picture plaques [?] Peyton".
