Late 18th century, watercolor on ivory, both rendered in a gray ground, the first of a gentleman with hair in queue and smoldering gaze, attired in blush hued overcoat and cravat (1 7/8 in.); the second of young gentleman, blue eyes with brown hair and brown overcoat (2 in.). Both presented behind glass in period gilt bracelet cases, later converted to pendants.

Some scratches and wear to cases; the larger case with area of loss to the upper pierced mount.
