Caroleen Sanders's works are all incised "Caroleen Sanders / Catawba Indian" with the date of manufacture. Works include a small jar with a lizard handle (5.25 in.) (2005); a small pitcher with a snake handle and incised star decoration below (7.5in.) (2009); a jug with handles fashioned as a frog and a lizard respectively (8.25 in.) (2012); a turtle effigy (1.75 in.) (2012). Each of these works carries a collection number. The fifth piece of pottery is possibly Catawba, however it is fashioned as a western two-handled wedding pitcher with a horned toad on one side and a cactus on the other side. The maker signed this vessel "EMB" on the base (7.75 in.).
