20th century, glazed earthenware, (14) pieces including a yellow glazed form signed and dated "81" by Fred Beane of Old House Pottery, Seagrove, North Carolina with conforming cup (8 3/4 in.); a single with deep Albany slip glaze, signed "PENLAND'S POTTERY CANDLER N.C." (7 in.), four others of similar form and glaze, one stamped "Moonlight School Exchange Asheville NC" and with conforming cup (6 1/2 in.); (2) taller forms in a blue glaze, attributed to A.R. Cole, unsigned (10 1/2 in.); one in salt blue glaze (9 1/4 in.); and the tallest with blue glazed accents, with conforming cup, attributed to Hilton Pottery, Newton, North Carolina (11 1/4 in.). Also included is a small example in orange with black hatch decoration, signed by Greg Schooner of Ohio.
