Mark Hewitt (English / NC, b.1955), Lidded Urn and Low Bowl

The jar, alkaline glazed with controlled glass runs, impressed lozenge shapes to the rim, ring turned lid with a shaped finial, potter's glyph and impressed "87" to the underside; the bowl with teal glaze and slip decoration to the interior, stamped with potter's glyph and "EN" apprentice stamp to the underside.

The urn 9 in.; The bowl 8 1/4 in. dia.
