Attributed to Massachusetts, late 18th century, each a shield back form with molded crest rail and incised splats, one with fan inlay at the terminus, each with over upholstered serpentine seats, straight molded tapered front legs, stretcher base.
Each approximately 37 x 21 x 18 in., seat height 17 in.
Varying upholstery with staining to the striped chair and the blue woven chair with tears and later adhesive tape; the inlaid chair with possible later crest rail; veneer chip near inlaid fan; some joint looseness to stretcher base; later glue blocks; both chairs with scuffs to the crest rails; the blue chair with edge chip and loss to crest rail above stile; missing two glue blocks.
