Two French Brass Carriage Clocks

First quarter 20th century, both of rectangular form with glass paneled brass case, upper handle and platform escapement, the first retailed by J. E. Caldwell & Co., featuring an Arabic dial, 13 jewel movement with dual adjustment by Doverdrey & Bloque, France (3 1/2 in. handle down); the taller also with Roman dial, jeweled movement marked "France" (4 1/4 in.). Includes one winding key that winds both clocks.
