A very similar form attributed to Joe Owen (NC, 1910-1986) is featured in a yellow glaze on page 82 of A. Everette James' definitive text "North Carolina Art Pottery, 1900-1960 Identification & Value Guide."

Overall good condition; one small glaze flake to handle, some other glaze skips inherent to the making.
