Ben Owen III (Seagrove, NC, b. 1968), Celadon and Chinese Blue Vases

Late 20th century, glazed stoneware, the shorter with bulbous waist beneath a flared neck, Chinese blue glaze over a dark ash and salt glazed foot, hand-signed and dated 1989 to the underside (9 1/2 x 7 x 7 in.); the tallest a celadon glaze and double handles round upper rim and base rim, signed and dated to the underside (12 in.).
