Aberclydach (or Aber Clydach) is a hamlet within the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys, Wales. It is centered on the on the confluence between the Clydach brook and the Caerfanell river. It is a popular area for trout fishing in the River Cynon or in one of the many
llyn (lake) found in this area.
Henry Thomas Jarman was primarily a landscape and figurative painter. He exhibited frequently between 1899 and 1938, including 15 times at the Royal Academy as well as with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Society of British Artists. Jarman lived in Essex and was a member of the Langham Sketch Club.
