Boards with light scuffing and spotting, typical wear to extremities, occasional peeling to leather, and spines with light wear including a few with minor damp stains; pages extremely clean with overall very mild toning and offsetting, a rare spot of grime or area of damp staining, and occasional foxing; a couple of volumes with light hinge cracking and edge wear; facsimile with spotting, vol. VII with small hole in rear endpaper, and vol. VIII with front endpapers attached at one corner. Easily very good. A solid and attractive set.
