Mid-19th century, salt glazed stoneware, inscribed "T. G. Craven / Moffitts" to the right of the handle and beneath the ring turned shoulder, with slightly flared tall neck, high handle orange peel surface.

After potting for a time, likely at Moffitt's Mill, TG moved to Missouri in 1870 with a later move to Arkansas.


Restored handle; scrape to lower part of the upper rim; some scattered surface pitting to body; firing crack to the underside.
