Mid-19th century, salt glazed stoneware, inscribed "T. G. Craven / Moffitts" to the right of the handle and beneath the ring turned shoulder, with slightly flared tall neck, high handle orange peel surface.

From the Collection of Quincy and Betty Scarborough, Fayetteville, North Carolina After potting for a time, likely at Moffitt's Mill, TG moved to Missouri in 1870 with a later move to Arkansas.
Restored handle; scrape to lower part of the upper rim; some scattered surface pitting to body; firing crack to the underside.
