The
Gradual of St. Katharinenthal is an illuminated Gothic liturgical manuscript containing chants sung in Latin. Celebrated for its extensive decoration, the gradual was created ca. 1312 in St. Katharinenthal Abbey in Switzerland, and it was used there until the 19th century. After disappearing for decades and eventually finding its way to England, the manuscript returned to Switzerland in the mid 20th century.
Boards with some rubbing and light marks to leather and metal fittings, joints lightly creased; occasional edge wear; very good plus. Without commentary volume.
