A. P. Donaghho (WV), Five Gallon Stoneware Crock and Storage Jar

Parkersburg, West Virginia, circa 1880, glazed stoneware with cobalt decoration, the obverse with maker's stenciled stamp A. P. DONAGHHO / PARKERSBURG, WV, above capacity mark with geometric stenciled borders, of cylindrical form with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles. Together with a small storage jar, approximately half-gallon capacity, with stenciled maker's mark to the obverse (8 in.).
