Cowden & Wilcox Cobalt Decorated Two Gallon Jug

Circa 1870, semi-ovoid form, the upper shoulder with capacity and maker's stamp "2 / COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA", cobalt decoration on the handle, maker's stamp, as well as a large stylized slip trailed design of a foliate sprig.
