Circa 1880s, glazed stoneware with single handle and cobalt script, both with impressed maker's stamp to the shoulder "J. FISHER / LYONS, N.Y.", the 2 gallon with impressed capacity mark and cobalt scripted "Bernhardt Bro's / 2?7-291-301 Washington St. / Buffalo / N.Y." to the body obverse (13 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 in.); the smaller without capacity mark having cobalt script "N. A. Carroll / 742 Seneca St. / Buffalo / N.Y." (11 x 7 x 7 1/2 in.)
