Attributed to North Carolina or Virginia, early 19th century, yellow pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged lid with bread board ends, loper supports, divided interior featuring a distinctive quadruple raised panel prospect door with secret German lock operated valance drawer, flanked by six small drawers and six pigeonholes surmounted by hidden valance drawers, the case with four graduated cock beaded drawers, ogee bracket foot base.
