Circa 1820s, watercolor on ivory, unsigned, both depicting curly-haired sitters, attired in white waistcoats with a floral print, tied cravat and jeweled pendant, the larger is Italian school in tondo format, attired in blue coat, the reverse backing later ink inscribed and dated 1801-1878 (miniature 2 3/8 in. diameter; pendant 2 1/2 in.); the second of a curly haired gent with earring, attired in brown coat against a light blue ground (miniature 1 3/4 in.; pendant 2 3/4 in.).
