A Private North Carolina Collection Boards with toning, dry cracking and chipping to leather, repairs, occasional light scuffing, and with some spine labels curling slightly at edges; one with rubbing along edge of lower board; light wear to top edge gilt; hinges with occasional light wear and most with matching repairs; frequent wear to endpapers with occasional small losses, tears, and one free endpaper detached; interiors with light toning, occasional grime, infrequent foxing, and rare small stain or minor repair, pages overall extremely clean; final volume with offsetting on several pages from item previously laid in loose, and one volume with corner wear to text block. A handsome set of this rare edition.
