Attributed to Frederick Carpenter (MA, early 19th century), Stoneware Jug Stamped "CHARLESTOWN"

Salt glazed stoneware with cobalt decoration, approximately a 1 1/2 gallon jug, the shoulder stamped "CHARLESTOWN" above a cobalt foliate motif (12 x 8 x 6 1/2 in.).
