Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Dated 1362 by a 20th-century owner; on parchment and framed. The verso also carries an explanatory note stating that, per the document, a certain Simon Fishar of Soldale, son of Robert of Heck, and John, son of Simon Carpenter of Snaith, have property in Goldale. The collector also places the surname "Heck or Hick" in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Though names and places are somewhat legible on this parchment, detailed content is still elusive.
