The first in cased miniature form, retailed by Drew & Sons, Piccadilly Circus, London, circa 1890, dial signed "DREW & SONS / PICCADILLY CIRCUS / LONDON", manual wind French movement, together with fitted leather wrapped wooden case (clock 2 3/4 in. handle down; case 3 1/2 in.); the larger marked "[crown]/ St. L" to the upper crystal panel, first half 20th century, gilt brass case with main dial and subsidiary seconds dial, key wind dual fuse movement with three hammer gong strike, underside with "Silent" and "Strike" alarm options (clock 4 3/4 in. handle down).

The firm of retail jewellers Drew and Sons was based at Piccadilly Circus from 1887 until 1914 when they moved to premises in Regent Street. They also had premises at Leadenhall Street in London from 1888-1914 and also at Kings Road in Brighton from 1894.
