Early 19th century, watercolor on ivory, unsigned, the blue-eyed gent attired in blue coat and white waistcoat, high collar with white cravat, presented behind glass in a gilt pendant frame, interior with somewhat legible later pencil inscribed notations on glassine in German regarding the life and dates of the sitter, circa 1748-1807.
