Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, a large embroidery on light gold tan silk featuring a large dragon and phoenix surrounded by bats, Buddhist treasure symbols, clouds, and flowers, the reverse side is lined with red fabric, a later light blue fabric border with hanging tabs at top and weighted at bottom for hanging.
DOA 84 x 49, Silk panel 80 x 45 1/2 in.
Good estate condition; with some horizontal tears to silk; some loose threads to embroidery; some blackish wash to silk; some light even overall fading to panel.
