19th century, the larger with an American Classical style ornate carved gilt wood frame, eglomise depicting Victorian sled scene with black and gold floral border; the smaller with a Hitchcock style painted wood frame, eglomise depicting young girl in stage setting with decorative floral and multicolor paint frame with later mirror.

The larger with gilt loss and silver degradation consistent with age, top has chips to wood and loose elements, back wood panel is loose and has split; the smaller with paint chipping, repair and fill to lower right back of frame, separation between mirror and églomisé with break and repair to separating wood band, overall scuffing and chipping to wood, paint loss to églomisé, consistent wearing to mirror.
