Watercolor on ivory, unsigned, both presented behind glass in matching ebonized frames with gilt metal bezel and acorn hanger, the first depicting a youthful woman facing three quarter sinister, attired in lacework bonnet with lace-collared dress, the second of an elderly bewigged gent facing three quarter dexter, attired in red coat and yellow waistcoat.

Miniature 2 3/4 in.; frame dimensions 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 in.

Some wear to frames; The female miniature wafer with some trimming and chips to perimeter; one crack to the far right; male wafer with some warping, frame without backing.
