Likely French, second half of the 19th century, carved wood with applied gold leaf over gesso, architectural arched frame with shell motifs over columnar stiles, flanking a heraldic armorial pediment featuring two fleur-de-lis and a spread-winged fowl facing dexter, later mirror stamped "Pittsburg Glass Co./High Point, NC/NOV [?], 1941" to verso; two screw eyes drilled onto back for hanging.
