Circa 1800, mahogany veneer, chestnut and pine secondary, one part form, an attached upper recessed gallery with reeded edge and two sliding doors, nicely veneered panels, the developed board with recessed center section, cut rounded corners featuring a central drawer, conforming horizontally reeded panels, two deep drawers, paneled upper stiles, raised on six legs, the front four with distinctive graduated and ring turned tapering, the rear legs square tapered with front reeding; the case with all over light and dark wood inlay, drawers and panels with distinctive burl veneers and banded borders.
