France, 19th century, to include a Napoleonic era cartridge case made of black and blue stained leather with ormolu handles, displaying light infantry horn to front with radiant background plaque possibly indicating officer status (with handles 4 x 9 x 1 in.); and a brass advertisement sign reading "DOCTEUR MÉDECIN", with holes drilled to each corner (8 3/4 x 5 1/2 in.)

Case has rubbing to gilt, wear to top and interior leather; missing clasp to hold case closed; lining to back is separating from case; sign has scratches and scuffs consistent with age, small bend to one corner, possible later paint touch ups to letters.
